BARRICCAIA VISIT – The Barriccaia visit is conceived for those who approach for the first time to the Marchesi Antinori world and their wines. A tour leading through the Antinori family history, illustrating how the wine is made and showing the innovative architecture of the winery.
Tasting of three of our most representative wines of the tuscan estates. The visit is conceived as a trip through the wine world and history of the Antinori family, all briefly illustrated in the Cinzia Th. Torrini’s short movie dedicated to the family, “The Antinori: vintners since 1385”.

The tour moves from the outside to the inside of the winery, permitting to see the great spiral staircase, the vineyard covering the winery roof and the vinification and aging areas. At the end of the tour a tasting of some of our typical labels from the Tuscany and Umbria Estates: Achelo Cortona D.O.C. Syrah, Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. and Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva. The wines could change depending on the season and the availabilities. The visit lasts approximately an hour and a half.

BOTTAIA VISIT – A visit conceived for those who truly appreciate the countless shadings of a wine and seek a deeper knowledge and further understanding of its various aspects. The winery, in its most unusual and fascinating angles and corners. A trip to the Antinori family Estates through the tasting of four wines either in the impressive suspended room or in the more intimate Bottaia room.
The short movie on the Antinori family, Cinzia Th. Torrini’s “The Antinori: vintners since 1385” introduces to the museum area where to admire some of the works of art from the family’s private collection, both of ancient and contemporary artists and illustrates the history of the Antinori family and its fundamental role in the florentine life of the past centuries.

The tour moves from the outside to the inside of the winery focusing on the productive processes and the innovative architecture. At the end of the visit, the tasting of some wines: Bric Turot Barbaresco D.O.C.G from Prunotto Estate (Alba, Piemonte), Bramasole Cortona D.O.C Syrah from Fattoria La Braccesca (Montepulciano, Toscana), Bocca di Lupo Aglianico Castel del Monte D.O.C from Bocca di Lupo Estate (Minervino Murge, Puglia), Muffato della Sala Umbria I.G.T from Castello della Sala Estate (Orvieto, Umbria). (wines may vary according to the season and the availability).
The tasting will take place either in the impressive suspended room or in the more intimate Bottaia room. According to the season, it will be possible to taste the “Olio novo”, the biological Pèppoli Extravirgin olive oil.

The tour lasts about two hours (lunch not included).
